Environments

We take a great deal of consideration when setting up our school environments, our classrooms
and shared spaces. We are inspired by the work in Reggio Emilia, where educators consider the
environment as “the third teacher.” We believe that children, parents, and teachers deserve to be
surrounded by beauty and try and reflect this in our schools. Careful observation of children allows us
to develop the most appropriate room arrangements and offer materials to support children’s interests
and learning. Evaluating and improving our environments is an evolving process at our school that
includes the children, teachers and the pedagogista.
